CBI has worked with YWAM San Diego/Baja throughout the years in its community outreach opportunities. CBI has recruited many of its business relationships to volunteer in the construction of several homes for impoverished families along the border of California and Mexico CBI has contributed with its own staff members to assist in such outreaches as well as directly sponsoring the construction of homes to better the lives of those less fortunate.
Currently, CBI’s principals, Bob and Karen Pofahl, form part of the team developing a new training campus Baja California, Mexico. They have given of their energies and experience to serve as the project co-directors for the new campus to ensure a successful development is constructed. The new facilities are important to maintaining the long term vision of YWAM San Diego/Baja. The current Board of Directors envision a campus that will mobilize, train and impact young people and families for generations to come.
Youth With A Mission is an international faith based organization with bases on every continent. YWAM provides training for young people and adults throughout the world so that they may reach out to those in need. YWAM has ministries that include training, youth programs, primary medical care and housing for homeless families.
